Unexpectedly, she ran into a massive traffic jam along the way. Seeing the road conditions made it clear that reaching the hospital anytime soon would be impossible. Jian Dan’s face was filled with anxiety.

“Ah~ Ah~ Ah~ My stomach hurts so much! Ah~” The woman groaned in pain repeatedly.

“Are you alright? You–” Jian Dan understood all too well how dangerous childbirth could be for a woman.

“Save my baby! Please, save my baby. Nothing must happen to him… Nothing can happen to him! Save my baby!” The woman reached out from the back seat and tightly gripped Jian Dan’s arm, pleading.

Jian Dan spotted a traffic officer not far away and quickly got out of the car to run over. “Excuse me, there’s a woman in my car who is about to give birth.”
