Ye Qilan’s eyes grew cold.

Since the mysterious person who sent the email deliberately created suspense and tried every possible way to get Su Hongxing’s attention, there is no reason for him to stay hidden forever. To play psychological games with him and make him panic, he really was never afraid.

His only concern was Su Hongxing. Su Hongxing’s attitude tonight explained everything; this woman was disturbed by this email.

“Sir, do you know who sent Madam the email?” Xiaohe’s voice woke Ye Qilan from his drifting thoughts.

He regained his composure and replied calmly, “You should rest early, don’t let her know about this for now.”

Then he hung up the phone.

Ye Qilan lay back on the bed, closed his eyes to rest. The situation now was rather interesting; even if that Ye Qilan were still alive, what could he do about it?

He is Ye Qilan, the man Su Hongxing loves deeply. Even if Su Hongxing never gave him any love in return, he knew she cared for him; her reactions when facing him could not lie.

That Ye Qilan was dead and could not possibly have another chance. Su Hongxing has always been his woman, that will never change!

Su Hongxing did not sleep well that night, having the same dream over and over. Two Ye Qilans each pulling one of her arms, asking her to choose; she was annoyed by them in her dream the entire night, truly a nightmare.

Luckily, she woke up, fine in her bed, without two Ye Qilans fighting over her.

When she went downstairs, she saw Ye Qilan sitting at the dining table, with some very strange-looking breakfast items on it. Strange because they looked terrible. The fried eggs were burnt, the dumplings seemed undercooked, and as for that big bowl of rice slurry, it didn’t look like congee or rice; it was quite frightening and surely would not taste good.

Looking at these horrifying-looking breakfasts, she swallowed her saliva: “Did you make this?”

Besides Ye Qilan, who else could have the talent to make such horrific breakfast? In the past life, he never cooked, so this breakfast must have come from Ye Qilan’s hands.

Ye Qilan coughed lightly to cover his discomfort: “Even if it doesn’t look good, it actually tastes nice, give it a try.”

He must outdo the other Ye Qilan, so he needed to excel in all aspects. In that way, the other Ye Qilan would hold no advantages and naturally be unthreatening.

The only thing that Ye Qilan might surpass him in was cooking, and on this point, he was confident he could catch up.

Su Hongxing nodded as she ate, not speaking the truth for fear of discouraging Ye Qilan’s enthusiasm.

“If it’s good, eat more.” Ye Qilan added a bowl of congee for Su Hongxing and handed it to her: “Try it.”

Su Hongxing forced herself to eat two more bites but couldn’t eat anymore: “I’m full, you eat.” His cooking skills were really indescribable.

Little Pudding also sat at the dining table; in front of Ye Qilan, Su Hongxing didn’t dare to stop Little Pudding from eating.

Little Pudding took a bite of the plain congee and said honestly: “It doesn’t taste good!”

As always, the child spoke his mind.

Ye Qilan, however, refused to give up and put a fried egg into Little Pudding’s bowl: “Good daughter, try this fried egg.”
