Hua Shasha continued to fire a string of questions, but Yun Wei didn’t answer any of them and kept acting like she didn’t know anything.

It was the only likely explanation.

A luxury sedan started moving toward Hua Shasha and Bai Wenping.

Bai Wenping immediately pulled Hua Shasha back and said, “This is Jian Zhifei’s territory. Don’t stir up any trouble. Let’s just get away from here.”

“Okay, just leave this little piece of trash here and let her freeze. Punishment for not knowing her place and ruining our plan!” Hua Shasha fumed.

Dragging Bai Wenping by the hand, Hua Shasha got into a waiting taxi.

Yun Wei smiled cynically. Eventually, she would return in full all the bullying and insults that Hua Shasha had heaped on her.

Yun Wei looked up and saw a fine-boned hand in front of her.

His chest was exceptionally wide and warm. Yun Wei snuggled deeper into his arms, feeling as though he had blocked out all the chill in the world.
