When he saw Hua Shasha being dragged outside, Bai Wenping had no choice but to follow.

Watching them leave, Yun Wei felt a sense of triumph.

What had they been thinking, using her stuff to achieve their own goals? They must’ve thought it’d be all too easy.

Toward the end of the party, Yun Wei casually strolled out of the event venue.

Shocked, scared, regretful, and panicked, Hua Shasha and Bai Wenping desperately wanted to clarify some things with Yun Wei.

When they saw Yun Wei appear at the exit, they rushed toward her.

Hua Shasha fiercely demanded, “Yun Wei, what’s wrong with you? Why did you come here today? And what’s the deal with the necklace?”

Yun Wei immediately feigned innocence and replied, “I came here with some classmates. The necklace is exactly what it is. A necklace. Something that Auntie Ji gave me.”

She spoke like an innocent kid, sounding like someone with the IQ of a four- or five-year-old.

Sounding desperate, Hua Shasha asked, “Why have you got the real necklace? And why did you wear it to this event?”

“Since it was something from Auntie Ji, I decided to wear it. Shasha, are you upset?” Yun Wei still pretended not to understand anything.
