“Sister? Where were you last night?” Su Lianxi was donning a simple dress and her seaweed-like locks were resting on her shoulders. Her face looked exquisite and attractive.

“Lianxi…” Su Zhixi bit her lips. “Don’t you have any idea where I’ve been last night?”

“Why would I know?” Her younger sister widened her eyes as innocence filled her face. “I went to your room this morning to call you for breakfast, but you weren’t around. I clearly remember that you came home last night.”

Ah! She suddenly exclaimed, “Sister, why are there so many red marks on your neck? Could it be, last night…”

It was as though she just realized she had a slip of tongue. Covering her mouth instantly, she looked pitifully at her father.

Her father’s brows furrowed as he observed Su Zhixi from head to toe—her hair was disheveled, her clothes were creased, and her exposed neck was littered with amorous marks—he flew into a great rage!

“Su Zhixi, tell me honestly, where have you been last night?”

She clenched her fists tightly and stared at Su Lianxi in fury. “She’s the one who harmed me! She spiked my milk last night!”

“What nonsense are you blabbering?!” Lin Shuyue raised her eyebrows in anger. “You’re the one with bad conduct, so how could you blame our Lianxi?! She clearly went on a date with Yichen last night! When he heard Lin Shuyue’s words, Su Guoan’s rage grew even stronger. He stood up and walked toward Su Zhixi.

Her lips shivered as she turned to look at him and her eyes glowed terrifyingly. “You have the cheek to mention Mommy? If you didn’t have an affair with Lin Shuyue, Mommy wouldn’t have been angered to death!”

Su Guoan’s embarrassment turned into fury as he lifted his harm and gave her another slap. “Shut up!”

Su Zhixi’s face was in so much pain that it felt numb.

She gripped the hem of her shirt tightly and struggled to hold back her tears. This was her father who had never been nice to her ever since the death of her mother. He would let Lin Shuyue and Su Lianxi frame her anyhow!
