With the morning sunlight shining, Su Zhixi’s lashes fluttered as she rolled over in bed before opening her eyes.

She was stunned the next moment!

Right before her eyes was a handsome face, which looked as if it was carved to perfection. The man’s eyes had long and thick lashes, and they were tightly shut. He looked serene yet attractive.

He was a complete stranger!

But why is there a man on my bed? Su Zhixi widened her eyes in fear!

No, this isn’t even my bedroom! She struggled to sit up, but the soreness all over her body caused her to whimper in pain.

Memories from last night began to flood her mind. Although they were fuzzy, they were enough for her to comprehend what had happened!

She actually spent a night with a stranger!

The reality caused her mind to go blank. She shivered as she got off the bed before picking up her clothes and putting them on. Her hands trembled, and she was so overwhelmed with nervousness that she could not put on her shoes properly. She simply picked her shoes up and ran out barefooted.

It was at this moment that an alluring voice rang from behind her. “Are you trying to run away after sleeping with me?”

She turned her head around in fear and looked right into a pair of eyes that was as dark as the darkest night sky.

Thump! Her heart skipped a beat.

The man had already woken up and was pulling on his sleeping robe unperturbed. He stood by the bed as he looked at the woman with a laid-back smile on his handsome face.

“Sorry! Sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose!”

She was flustered and was at a loss about what to do. She could only apologize hastily before dashing out of the room.

An elderly man was outside and about to enter the room when he had a rude shock as he saw the disheveled woman!

“You…” Uncle Li watched as a woman dashed out of his young master’s bedroom. He instinctively wanted to stop her, but she swiftly ran away and disappeared at the end of the corridor.

His face turned pale and he hurriedly entered the room. He thought that the young master would still be asleep, but it turned out that the latter was dressing himself composedly and did not look uncomfortable.

“Young Master, are you alright?” he asked worriedly.

“I’m alright.” He Jingyao’s lips curled.

“But there was clearly a woman earlier…” Uncle Li said while feeling perplexed.

“It seems like I’m immune to her.” He Jingyao elegantly buttoned his diamond cuff-links. He appeared to be in a great mood. “Get the CCTV footage. I want to know why she appeared in my room last night as well as all the information about her.”

“Immune? Does that mean you can touch that woman?” Tears of joy welled up in Uncle Li’s eyes and he was excited. “That’s fantastic, I’ll get going!”

Uncle Li left in a rush right after speaking. He had always been a composed man, but this time around, he was actually staggering.

The corners of He Jingyao’s lips curled again.

There was still an odd sensation lingering in his body—a feeling he had never felt before.

It seemed much more splendid than he had imagined.
