Chapter 13: Spirytus

Reyes asked the butler for Toya’s phone number. He hesitated when he filled in the caller ID.

He had thought of countless ways to address her, but with her current identity, all of these titles were stuck in his throat, and he was unable to spit out a single one.

While he was hesitating, he accidentally pressed the dial button. Fortunately, he reacted quickly and hung up.

He put down his phone. The caller ID was empty.

The bar was very quiet in the morning.

After cleaning up the trash left behind by the guests who had partied here the night before, the waiter was filling the counter with all kinds of alcohol.

His biggest problem now was not getting Toya to like him.
