The local police in Geshan County were urgently mobilized, armed and dispatched for duty.

But since the incident happened in the morning, many officers had not yet started their shifts, and in Japan, police are not allowed to take their guns home after work, making it difficult to gather an effective force.

Amidst the howling sirens, over 200 Japanese police officers from several nearby police stations were dispatched to Heshun Avenue, which was all the available officers that could be mobilized nearby.

However, when these Japanese police officers arrived at Heshun Avenue, although they were somewhat mentally prepared, the sight before them turned the faces of these more than 200 officers ashen, with many vomiting.

Many mutant sea monsters had already eaten their fill, but some continued hunting. Unfortunate individuals marked by the sea monsters would soon become the monsters’ delicious prey, as human flesh and blood were no match for these terrifying sea monsters.

“Open fire! Kill these monsters!”

Witnessing the horrendous human tragedy, the leading officer roared in anger.

Every Japanese officer was filled with apprehension, but the guns in their hands provided a modicum of courage.

Soon, gunshots rang out densely on Heshun Avenue, as one Japanese officer after another raised their guns and shot, bullets striking the sea monsters.

The surviving Japanese on Heshun Avenue, as well as those hiding inside buildings, were overjoyed and scrambled towards the police, some even jumping off buildings, breaking legs just to get police protection.
