CHAPTER 6 BACON EGG (WITH LOTS OF BLACK PEPPER)

 I’m someone who is quite awkward.

So I didn’t really expect it when that handsome polar bear accepted my invitation with sparkling eyes.

He might have been hungry or he might be quite a glutton? Even though he did out of respect, those eyes of his were sparkling. 

Well for now I decided to cook the bacon egg I had to the handsome polar bear and so that no one will know my skill, the handsome polar bear is currently guarding my room.

“Summon Kitchen”

It’s just like the one from before when I chanted it, I was able to warp back. I had properly mastered it for being the second time I’m using it, I snickered at the thought.

“tte…Wha….!”

I was properly able to warp back to the kitchen but when I came inside, I couldn’t help but raise a voice. Who’d have thought the mini kitchen got cleaned and was properly in order.

“… …Everything is in a clean state”

I don’t know much about my skill yet, I just made the bacon egg from a while ago and now I’m immediately back here. 

That’s why I thought I could clean around, since I left the frying pan laying around, the egg shell and bacon wrap was out on the preparation table. And in the fry pan where there’s still supposed to have some of the residue from the bacon’s egg and the burnt part from the egg is all sparkly clean now. Even the egg shells and bacon wrap are gone on top of the table.

“Even the rags are dry already”

The towels, tableware and rags were still a bit wet when I left but now it’s all dried up. It’s extremely weird but the rag that I used and washed, were just left it in the table, to let it dry.

So the rag that I left to dry, is now in a pretty state. 

“It might be the work of an elf… …” (t/n: thanks vampirecat^^)

Did they cleaned things up while I was gone? 

Will you also make me shoes.

“A. The Egg and Bacon lessened”

I always dreamed that a dwarf like being will come, once morning comes, and someone would do the chores for me. So while thinking of an existence like that, I opened the refrigerator and checked the items there, the eggs became 9 and the there’s only one bacon pack left.

“It seems like even the utensils I’ve used will return to the way it was before.” 

In short I do not have to clean anymore!

The “Summon Kitchen” is amazing!

I’m sorry for thinking its a shabby skill. To clean up everything, it’s such an amazing skill!

While having thankful feelings, I kept on patting the wall and then I faced the liquid crystal since there’s something I want to exchange. Then as I checked the liquid crystal some sort of words appeared―― 

“It increased!”

My kitchen points increased!

“The starting points I got was 100 pts. My first time using it…”

“Bacon egg became 1200 pts!”

In a day it increased up to 1200 pts!

Since it’s my first time it could have been some sort of bonus poin. I’m sure I can’t get the same points for a second time, I think.

“But it seems like I can still get more.”

This time I almost used up all 100 pts and this time it doubled up. And what’s more I don’t need to make another exchange for the most expensive item, the fry pan and the hand soap, kitchen towel, kitchen clips.

There’s also some leftover egg and bacon and I feel like  I can do it, if by cooking them I can amass points.

“… …I’m glad”

I said as I took a deep breath.

To be honest I was a bit worried about using the points. I just went with the flow and exchange stuff and that it could have been harder to get some points.

Well all’s well that ends well. In order to make this mini kitchen my dream kitchen, as long as I keep on using this things will get better and that is this skill “Summon Kitchen”

… … There’s still so many things I don’t know. 

That’s why I started to investigate the exchange thing in the liquid crystal.

I suddenly got 200 pts, and with this I can definitely cook some other dish for the handsome polar bear but since I already told him I’ll make hims some bacon egg, I guess it’s fine.

“With this we’re all set”

I was properly able to exchange points as it shined brightly. And when I looked over the preparation table the thing I want is properly there.

“Let’s make it!”

I’ll cook it just like the one with bacon egg. First I’ll have to heat up the pan and then placed some bacon and flip it over then add the egg. Just repeating the same steps as before and just like that the bacon egg is done. 

“Oh. I automatically got another fry pan” 

With the bacon egg already cooked, a plate and fork appeared. After placing the bacon egg on top of the plate, I returned the frying pan into the stove and I turned around the pan.

“So it’s not like I’ll be warped back once I’m done.”

I see. I get it. So it’s not like I warp back is I hold the plate. 

“I’m glad. Since if it an automated kind of warp, I won’t be able to plate the food”

Like when placing some sauce on top or plating it.

If it was an automatic kind I wouldn’t know what I’ll do. I’m just really gat it’s not like that.

“Since this is needed”

“― ― I knew it! Black pepper it is!”

So the item I exchanged with is the black pepper that has some fine seaweed (probably powder like).

There are a lot of people who buys the black pepper and fine seaweeds separately but I’m the type who buys it together.

Someday I’d like to buy the electric type, the one where once you switched it up it will just finely grind them together. Because usually, everytime I flick my wrist, I can hear a garigari like sound when I manually mix them together. 

After grinding and mixing it together till it’s fine (powderized already), the fragrance bursts out from the jar. 

And that aroma that burst out… …!

“Ah…I always want to scrape it out like this”

What’s more than the scraping and burst of the flavour is that bouncy thing is  unbearable. I always want to scrape it out and it’s a good way to relieve stress.

But by continuously scraping it would not be a good idea so I had to stop while restraining my desire.

And now just like before, the nicely crisp bacon and the half-fried sunny side up and then by slowly sprinkling the black round things…what awaits us is a….
