Qin Yu stood up to catch the pillow, gazed at the little lady throwing a tantrum on the sofa, sighed softly, placed the pillow beside her, and then turned to enter the washroom.

Ah Dai lifted her head stealthily when she heard the door, sat up to tidy her hair and dress, and seeing the shoe placed neatly on her foot, was inwardly frustrated. She grabbed the pillow and started pounding it furiously.

“Put away your messy thoughts,” Qin Yu warned lightly and turned to go back into his office.

“Understood, understood,” Wei Lan chuckled in agreement, grinning knowingly as he followed Qin Yu into the office, looking around sneakily with a heavy sense of thievery.

The young girl sat upright on the sofa, holding a pillow and looking as quiet and well-behaved as a student in class.

Her dress and hair were neat and tidy, her neck and shoulders pristine, without a single trace; Wei Lan realized he had greatly misunderstood the situation.

Ah Da involuntarily glanced at Qin Yu beside her, and when she saw him looking over, she quickly averted her gaze.

“Su Qingdai, you can just call me Ah Da.”

“Su Qingdai, Qing Dai, such a melodious name, as poetic as the person it belongs to,” Wei Lan exaggerated with a flourish, struggling to recite a couple of lines of poetry as praise.

This made Ah Da feel a bit embarrassed, unable to handle his enthusiasm as she quietly leaned back with the pillow in her arms.
