Chapter 1005: Chapter 91: Clearly, We Were Here First!

Several days later, Giant Country.

Four golden silhouettes cut through the raging blizzard and descended in the middle of the Alien Race village.

“Password!” A lively inquiry mixed with a hint of authority came from midair.

“It’s me.”

“Wrong answer…”

A familiar sense of deja vu caused the Valkyrie in the sky to hesitate slightly. She hurriedly pulled off the white hood on her head, and upon seeing the figure below clearly, she stuck out her tongue and quickly corrected herself,

“Lord Loki, you’ve returned!”

Seeing that head of signature pink hair and the somewhat playful actions, Luo En couldn’t help but chuckle:

“Hild, are you on duty in the village today?”

“Yeah, yeah, today Slude is in charge of the outer patrol, I’m responsible for guarding inside the village, and Audlinde is tasked with teaching the villagers how to identify herbs and avoid Magic Beasts.”

Hild flapped her wings and landed, chattering away in front of Luo En. Her pink hair fluttering about, along with her cheerful tone, evoked a boundless vitality.

The three Valkyrie who came to serve in the Lower Realm were not only among the finest in strength in the Valkyrie Corps but also had their own distinct personalities and behaviors.

The golden-haired, elder niece Slude is Powerful and composed, adept at work delegation, a Commander type; the black-haired Audlinde, who is well-versed in swordsmanship, likes to read, speaks less but is intellectual, is responsible for logistics and serves as the brain trust; the pink-haired Hild is more lively and active, accustomed to chattering nonstop, she’s the team’s spirit-lifter.

Of course, besides these differences, they also shared one common trait–

–They were all extremely beautiful.

Soon after, the other two Valkyrie, alerted by the commotion, also arrived one after another. They reported recent work meticulously around Luo En, their superior.

That distinctive personality, combined with top-notch beauty, livened up the surrounding atmosphere for a while, and Luo En himself couldn’t help but feel brighter, with more smiles appearing on his face.

Although he had no such intentions, he couldn’t help but admire Odin’s strict selection of Charisma.

At least aesthetically, his view was quite aligned with that of his Blood Alliance brother.

New recruits?

The three Valkyrie were taken aback upon hearing this, then their gaze toward the Norn Three Goddesses became more scrutinizing and wary.

As Valkyrie with both strength and intelligence, and with the precedent set by their elder sister Brynhild, they weren’t foolish and could somewhat understand the purpose of Odin sending them to the Lower Realm.

The mission to captivate their superior has yet to make headway, and in just a few days, three more Valkyrie had joined his side.

This situation inevitably gave rise to a sense of crisis in the hearts of Slude and the others.

Although they weren’t keen on seduction, and it wasn’t their forte–they had originally planned to just muddle through–looking at the circumstances now, if they didn’t put in some effort, they might have to follow in Brynhild’s footsteps and be assigned to some godforsaken borderland to shiver in the cold wind.

With the pink-haired Hild on one side and black-haired Audlinde on the other, they stepped forward and each grabbed one of Luo En’s arms. The golden-haired Slude led the charge, forming with her sisters a perfect triangular formation that served the functions of encircling, protecting, segregating, and charging. They were like a pack of mother wolves defending their territory, declaring sovereignty to foreign invaders. Together, they spoke sternly to the three new recruits:

“Are you new here?”

“You still need experience.”

“The duties of patrolling, guarding, and teaching are yours now. We still have to report to the Commander on our work!”

Saying so, Slude waved her hand, and Hild and Audlinde, who were flanking Luo En, poised to drag their superior into little Gerd’s dark little hut.

Scouty was first taken aback, then realizing what was happening, she burst out in anger:

“Hey, you three, stop right there! Why should I do this kind of rough work?”

Patrolling, guarding, teaching? You must be joking!

She was, after all, a Fate Goddess–Odin himself had to lower his voice when he saw her.

Slude halted in her steps, turned to look at Scouty, and retorted:

“This is how all newbies start. What, you have a problem with that?”

“Of course! You certainly don’t have the right to order me around!” Scouty retorted defiantly, her chin held high.

“It seems, as seniors, we need to teach you the rules of the Corps.”

Slude gestured with her hand, and Hild and Audlinde, who had released Luo En’s arms, rolled up their sleeves with ill-intent, encircling Scouty in a threatening stance–it was clear they were well-rehearsed in this routine.

Luo En sighed helplessly at the sight.

Indeed, in any era, there are the unavoidable phenomena of workplace bullying.

Especially in a military organization that prizes might, the fist is always the ultimate reason and rule.
