Chapter 22 Huo Qing Saved the Day

The man beside An Ran looked her up and down.

An Ran was very eye-catching dressed in a dancer’s outfit. Her bosom was faintly discernible. Her waist was so thin that it could be easily wrapped around. Her legs were fair, long, and slim. On top of it, she was wearing a pair of stiletto heels. Even women would be jealous of her.

“Miss, how about I choose you to be my female companion tonight?” The man spoke and even reached out to touch An Ran’s waist.

An Ran hurriedly avoided him. Seeing that the man’s face was full of lust when looking at her, she curled her lips in disdain.

“I’m fine. Sir, you’d better hurry in,” An Ran rejected the man’s invitation to be his female companion.

“Do you know how many women dream of being my female companion? Stop acting as if you treat yourself seriously. Didn’t you dress yourself up like this to provide this kind of service?”

Having been rejected by An Ran, the man began to reveal his true color. He reached out and wanted to touch An Ran’s chest.

“Hey, what are you doing?” An Ran immediately covered herself.

Huo Qing had just gotten out of his car. He had been invited to this auction.

He had only taken a few steps when he saw the scene at the door.

If it had been any other person, they might not be able to tell that it was An Ran. However, Huo Qing could tell that it was her at a glance. Plus, he was very familiar with An Ran’s voice.

Huo Qing quickly walked to An Ran and pushed the man away.

“Do you have a death wish?”

When the man saw that it was Huo Qing, he was so scared that he quickly ran away. Huo Qing gave the bodyguard beside him a look, and his bodyguard immediately chased after the man.

An Ran was stunned, wondering how she ran into Huo Qing again.

However, she thought no one would recognize her since she was dressed like this tonight. Thus, she cleared her throat and said, “Thank you.”

“Okay.”

Huo Qing only replied with an “Okay.” Then he turned to the security guard at the door and said, “She’s my female companion tonight.”

When the security guard saw it was Huo Qing, he quickly let An Ran enter the venue.

An Ran was stunned. Why would he help her? Logically speaking, he would not have recognized her in her current appearance.

“Hmph, men are all perverts. They would help a beautiful woman whether they know her or not…”

An Ran muttered under her breath as she walked in.

She had just taken two steps when Huo Qing pressed her against the wall.

“Sir, can you show some respect? You don’t have to be so desperate simply because I’m pretty.”

“An Ran, here we meet again.” Huo Qing chuckled softly.

“How did you know… it was me?”

An Ran really felt tonight was unbelievable. She could not believe Huo Qing had recognized her even though she was dressed like this.

Huo Qing did not answer An Ran’s question. Instead, he asked her, “Why did you come to the auction?”

Huo Qing’s nose accidentally touched An Ran’s face. Only then did she realize how flirtatious their postures were.

Huo Qing had better skin than the average woman. His facial features were deep, especially his eyes which seemed as if they could suck people in.

An Ran looked at Huo Qing, and her face instantly turned red.

“You… Let go of me first…”

Seeing that Huo Qing had not moved, An Ran reached her leg to kick him, but he quickly grabbed her ankle.

“You pervert!”

“Yes.”

What did An Ran just hear?!

He had actually admitted that he was a pervert?

“I’m here to auction off my jewelry. Can you let go of me now?” An Ran said.

Huo Qing only let go of her after hearing her answer.

An Ran patted her own face to remind herself not to be misled by this man’s beauty.

“Come with me. You’re my female companion tonight,” Huo Qing’s voice sounded again.

“Okay.”

An Ran thought to herself, “Ahhh, what’s going on? Why did I just blurt out ‘yes’?”

Huo Qing let An Ran hold his arm, and they walked in together.
