“Jian, the light’s green.” Xia Mengjiao patted the dazed Jian Dan to remind her.

While Xia Mengjiao was trying on clothes, Jian Dan unexpectedly ran into someone she knew. “Fang Yuan? What are you doing here? Shopping for clothes with your girlfriend?” Jian Dan asked, glancing at the woman picking clothes not far away.

“Go? Why would I leave? I’m not finished yet!” She responded while heading in Jian Dan’s direction.

“What are you trying to do?” Fang Yuan stepped forward and grabbed her arm.

“How dare you try to stop me? Don’t forget your place.” The woman glared at Fang Yuan, shook his grip off, and continued walking.

“Can you not cause trouble? What exactly are you planning to do?” Fang Yuan tried to block her way again.

“Looks like that little girl means something special to you, huh? Defending her like this–are you afraid I’ll hurt her?”

“You’d better not provoke her, or you’ll regret it.”

“Ha–look at you, willing to say just about anything for her. But let me tell you, no matter what you say today, it won’t work. When I want to deal with someone, no one can stop me.

Get lost.” The woman shoved Fang Yuan aside with force and strode toward where Jian Dan and the others were.
