Huaixing tilted his head to look at Ouyang Jing and, unexpectedly, let out a joyful laugh.

Now that Tuanzi had arrived, Ouyang Jing naturally couldn’t stay at the base anymore.

Ouyang Jing froze for a moment, then smirked. “From this day forth, I’m yours.”

“Hey! Don’t say that. If my big guy overhears, not even I’ll be able to help you.”

“You know I didn’t mean it that way,” Ouyang said, scratching his head.

“Of course I know. I’m just teasing you. But seeing you like this, I really feel reassured now.”

“I’ve figured it out, and Xingxing also mentioned that she never really left us.”

“That’s the spirit. Alright then, rest well for the next few days, and report to the company next Monday. No problem, right?”

“I thought you were going to stay and eat there?” Chu Liyuan said, the moment Jian Dan got into the car.

“Of course not~ If it weren’t for Big Guy waiting for me here…” Jian Dan muttered softly.

“Jian Jian, I heard that!”

“Hehe~ Big Guy, I’m hungry!”

“Seatbelt!”

“Mmh!”

The car drove straight back to Li Garden~

“Why are you back? Weren’t you out for dinner?”

“I was out for dinner!”

“Oh!”

“Wow, did Sister Jin make all this delicious food?” Jian Dan exclaimed as soon as she stepped in and saw the table filled with dishes in the dining room.

She eagerly took a bite. “Hmm? Why does the taste seem different from Sister Jin’s usual cooking?”

“As expected from Mom. The title of ‘veteran foodie’ wasn’t given to you for nothing–you noticed the difference with just one bite.” Qian Lele came out of the kitchen holding a plate of food.

“What do you mean? Don’t tell me these dishes…”

“That’s right. These dishes were all made by us.” The other three little ones also walked out of the kitchen, each carrying a plate of food.

Jian Dan’s face instantly turned red. She couldn’t believe she was outdone by these tiny kids.

“Just to clarify–I wasn’t involved. I only did taste testing and helped carry dishes out,” Xiaoxin said with a grin.

Jian Dan gave the four little ones a good look. Among them, Xiaoxin did seem to resemble her the most, while the other three were clearly more like Big Guy.
