When Yang Xiaoting went to pack her luggage, Jian Dan swept a cold glance across the dormitory.

“Are you all very free? Is it that the training intensity isn’t tough enough for you? Is that why you’ve got time to gossip about others here?”

“Who the hell do you think you are, yelling in our dorm? We’ll say what we want–it’s our freedom. What’s it to you?”

“You’re not wrong there–I can’t control the sky, the earth, or the fact that you poop and fart.”

“What the hell did you just say?” The woman who spoke earlier instantly erupted in anger.

“What’s the matter? Can’t hear properly? How does someone like you even make it into the base?”

“Then I’ll show you exactly how I got into this base!” As she spoke, the woman lunged at Jian Dan.

The others in the dorm not only didn’t stop her but actually looked on as if watching a spectacle.

Jian Dan’s ruby lips curled into a slight smirk. She raised her leg and kicked the charging woman squarely, sending her flying into a nearby locker with a loud crash.

After kicking the woman, Jian Dan remained expressionless. Instead, she calmly dusted off her shoe. “These are new shoes Uncle bought me. Good thing they didn’t get dirty.”

“How dare you hit someone?” Another woman said as she helped the injured one up.

“What’s the problem? Got something to say?”

“I’m definitely reporting this to the instructor!”

“Feel free. Around here, it’s survival of the fittest. Surely you’re not telling me you don’t know even that much?”

“You–”

“Still, I wasn’t expecting this. You don’t seem that big, so why are you so heavy to throw?” Jian Dan remarked, smiling as she looked at the woman being helped up.

“You’re just throwing your weight around because you’re sleeping with Yang Xiaoting and Instructor Shang.”

“Heh. So what if I am? Even if I am, what are you gonna do about it? Fight me? You can’t win. Find a backer? You don’t have one. So what’s left for you?”

The women in the dorm were stunned by Jian Dan’s words. It was the first time they’d seen someone so brazenly flaunt favoritism and connections.

“Fine! Since you said this is survival of the fittest, let’s see who doesn’t belong here today. Sisters!” The group of ten or so women began advancing toward Jian Dan.

Jian Dan’s ruby lips curled even more alluringly than before. “Xiaoting, hasn’t your mood been bad lately? Want to blow off some steam?”

“Just what I was thinking.” Yang Xiaoting walked over to Jian Dan’s side, her face cold as ice.

“We know Xiaoting’s skills. Should we be worried…” One of the women stammered.

“What’s there to be afraid of? There are so many of us. Are we really scared of just the two of them? If we all go for it, there’s no way they stand a chance against us.”

“You’re absolutely right!” With that, they all moved toward Jian Dan and Xiaoting.

Jian Dan and Yang Xiaoting exchanged a glance and, without hesitation, struck back.

Not even ten minutes later, the dorm was silent; aside from Jian Dan and Yang Xiaoting, no one was left standing.

“Tch, that was way too easy. The quality of this batch of trainees is seriously disappointing,” Jian Dan said, crouching down and looking at the bodies sprawled out on the ground.

“What are you all doing, making such a racket? Do you think no one else needs to rest around here?” Just then, a woman stepped into the dorm.

“Dorm leader, you arrived just in time. Someone here is causing trouble for us!” one of the women croaked weakly, raising a trembling hand to point at Jian Dan.

“Who in the world dares make trouble here?” The dorm leader narrowed her eyes as she looked over at Jian Dan.

Jian Dan slowly got to her feet, turned around, and faced the dorm leader…
