Chapter 24: Bitten By Poisonous Snakes

“Miss, you’re finally back.”

The nanny, who had noticed the disappearance of her young mistress again, was anxiously looking for her. She immediately cried out in excitement when she saw Yu Shuya’s figure.

“Miss, are you alright? Why did you come back so late?”

Yu Shuya held the nanny’s arm and explained to her with a smile that she had met many rabbits and butterflies just now. After playing with them for a while, she forgot about the time.

The nanny looked at her young mistress who was tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. She patted her forehead.

She didn’t tell the nanny about the poisonous snake.

She turned her head and saw that the poisonous snake had unknowingly run to her pillow and even stuck out its tongue to lick her face.

“Poisonous snake, stop fooling around.”

Yu Shuya reprimanded the poisonous snake in a low voice, telling it that a girl’s face could not be licked casually.

“Of course, as a poisonous snake, your most basic job was to bite people, especially the bad people. So later on, you must show your fangs and bite the bad people,” Yu Shuya said to the snake.

She slowly looked up and saw that half of the window had been opened.

Then, a red-clothed female ghost was looking through the window with her hair disheveled.

Even if Yu Shuya knew that the red-clothed female ghost was Master Yuzhi in disguise, she was still shocked when she saw this scene.

“Nanny, I opened the window just now because I felt a little hot. Now that I feel cold again, I want to close it.”

When the nanny heard this, she got up and was about to close the window. Yu Shuya immediately stopped her.

“Nanny, since I opened the window just now, I’ll close it then. You should hurry up and sleep.”

Why did Master Yuzhi run away immediately when she saw that the nanny was about to wake up?
