The Bronze Ghost-faced figure was more powerful, even stronger than Yan Fei; if Yan Fei were to recklessly give chase, he might fall into a trap and suffer an unexpected defeat.

Even if Yan Fei didn’t fall for a trap, he was unsure whether he could kill the Bronze Ghost-faced figure quickly. Therefore, he decided to withdraw first and, after escorting the Artificial Intelligence “Dream” to a safe area, he would find a way to finish off the mysterious Bronze Ghost-faced figure.

Yan Fei later found out that the Mechanical Monkey’s real intent was to rescue the hostages, not to purposely attack Yan Fei’s Spider Platform, though the platform nearly collapsed under its assault.

Since leaving Africa, despite intensifying his intelligence gathering efforts, Yan Fei had never seen the Mechanical Monkey again, only knowing that it belonged to the equally mysterious Ancestral Land. Having lost hope of finding it, it was unexpected for Yan Fei to see it again today on the United States mainland.
