“Are you threatening me?”

John narrowed his eyes and strode towards Lauren.

An old female voice rang from afar.

Then, an old lady walked in from the outside. She was holding a cane with an elaborate dragon head carved on top of it.

Looking at the smashed flower pot and the woman who was behaving like a lunatic, her face was full of distaste. “What are you doing?”

“Mom, the jinx is back…”

The old lady silenced her with a glare, and the woman dared not continue talking.

The old lady looked at Lauren and saw the similarity between her and Roman, and she immediately understood.
