Ning Shu asked, “What do you need the pills for?”

“Yin Tian was forced back into a deep slumber after how severely you injured him. He needs the pills,” Yu Liuli said.

Ning Shu pressed further. “And how did you know I had them?”

“Yin Tian told me,” Yu Liuli replied, spreading her hands. “Just give them to me.”

“Do you know why I went into qi deviation? It’s because my soul suffered damage.”

“These pills were incredibly hard to come by.”

Yu Liuli sighed and apologized. “I was too impulsive before. That’s why I punished you.”

“But please, give me the pills first. Yin Tian’s soul is about to dissipate.” In her sea of consciousness, Yin Tian’s form had become as transparent as a bubble, seeming ready to burst at any moment.
