Xia An’an was jabbing the steak in her plate with a fork, sulking away. She was probably imagining Shen Chen as the steak and chopped it into pieces. 

On the other side, the guys were still bending over backwards to impress Shen Chen, offering themselves up to drink. But Shen Chen did not give them any chances. Cocking an eyebrow, she picked up a bottle of whiskey, filled up her glass and knocked back. This went on six times.

The whiskey and baijiu had the same alcohol content. The only difference was the taste. Shen Chen was in her element when it came to this liquor. 

Lin Xiaomiao’s eyes were on stalks. “Shen Chen, you shouldn’t drink it like this. That’s too strong!” 

Xia An’an sneered, “The whiskey is right beside her. She must have mistaken it as red wine. But it is not a big deal. A little whiskey won’t kill her.”

A few female classmates covered their mouths, trying hard not to laugh. But they soon broke into chortles.

Lin Xiaomiao tried to calm the situation. “Come on, Shen Chen, let me pour you more wine. It’s 1982 Lafite, a very fine wine!”

Shen Chen swirled the bottle of whiskey in her hand, an enthralling smile spreading across her face. “No, thanks. I like this one more.”

While speaking, she poured herself more of the amber liquid and swigged back. Earlier, everyone thought she had mistaken it as the red wine. But now, who would think so? She poured the thing down her throat as if it was water. The most stunning of all, she hadn’t eaten anything. Drinking with an empty stomach was something that even men could not take. Let alone a woman.

Apparently, Xia An’an was not too pleased to hear what Shen Chen said. She looked at Shen Chen with an evil smile, then snapped her fingers to ask for a waitstaff. Thinking Shen Chen was playing macho, she ordered a few more bottles of whiskey. 

There was a huge price gap between the whiskey and the 1982 Lafite. But she had plans. First, it would show how generous she was; two, it was to dampen Shen Chen’s spirit.

But Shen Chen was unfazed. Not giving them the opportunity to mock her, she started to guzzle them down. No one, except for a few guys putting on a bold face, dared to challenge Shen Chen. Everyone’s eyes were on stalks as she emptied the last bottle down her throat.

“Shen Chen, you really can drink!” Lin Xiaomiao’s jaw dropped.

Xia An’an chuckled, starting to insinuate, “She must have been going through a lot of training. What do you guys think? Where did Shen Chen get this ability?”

Xia An’an glanced at the guys sitting across her, calling them wussy in her mind, despising them for falling all over any woman that appeared before them.
