“Come back to me, then. I’ll take care of you,” Shi Yu replied.

“Room 2808,” Shen Chen muttered and rubbed her chin as she exited the elevator. She walked to one of the doors and glanced up at its number sign. Once she confirmed that it was the right room, she rang the doorbell and waited quietly. 

The door then opened with a quick clack. 

Wearing her signature smile, Shen Chen began to introduce herself, “Hello, I am…” She did not manage to finish her sentence because a long arm pulled her into the room. 

The door was slammed shut, blocking the light from the hallway outside. Shen Chen’s eyes were wide and alert in the dark, but she was pinned to the wall before she could react.

“Don’t move,” the stranger whispered.

“What are you doing?” She was wary. 

“You’re being too loud!” His voice was deep, hoarse, and profoundly magnetic. 

Shen Chen frowned when she felt the man’s large, warm hand stroking her curves. 

“You jerk!” she screamed.

“Are you pretending to be innocent?” he crooned.

“You’re the one who’s pretending! Bastard!” Shen Chen angrily lifted her hand.

*Slap*

Her palm produced a thunderous blow in the quiet room.

“How dare you hit me!” The man’s voice sounded terrifying. He pinned Shen Chen’s hands up above her head and forced a kiss on her lips. 

‘Damn it! Now you’re getting handsy with me?’

Shen Chen bit his lip in defense, and she could feel the faint smell of blood lingering in her mouth.

The pain made the man hiss.

He only paused for a second before he almost crushed her chin with his strong grip. “Tsk, tsk, aren’t you a wild kitty?”

“You’re the kitty! Everyone in your family is a kitty!”

“Shut up!”

“Touch me inappropriately and I’ll call the police!” Shen Chen shouted. She was mad, really mad.

“Call the police, then.” His bewitching voice rang indifferently.

However, right then, the doorbell started to ring nonstop. 

Shen Chen held her breath, thinking that this could be a chance for her to make a run for it.

The doorbell rang a few more times and finally stopped. 

*Clack.* 

The door was opened, and blinding lights shone on them.

Shi Yu squinted and blocked the incoming rays. He recognized the silhouette. “Shoo! Get out!” he cursed.

“Oh, are you guys…” Tang Yan was extremely bewildered. He could not help but stare at the man and woman in surprise. 

Shen Chen glanced at him, and the next moment, a smack was heard. 

Yes, she slapped him again with all of her might. 

The hit stung, creating a perfect imprint of her hand on Shi Yu’s handsome face. He immediately became clearheaded.

Without waiting for the others to come to their senses, Shen Chen tidied up her clothing and left the scene nonchalantly.

The room was dead silent.

Tang Yan stood there in shock, his mouth dangling wide open. It was the first time that somebody had ever smacked Shi Yu in the face. “What are you doing here?” Shi Yu asked coldly.

“Aren’t you looking for someone to tame that inner fire of yours?” Tang Yan coughed awkwardly.

He was trying really hard to hold back his laughter. Obviously, he had just missed an epic scene. He had a feeling that both of them had quite some fun before his arrival.

Shi Yu scowled and shifted his gaze to the woman behind Tang Yan. “She’s the one?”

“What else?” Tang Yan chuckled as he beckoned the beauty next to him. “Go on, serve my brother.”

“No problem, I’ll wipe away his pain!” the woman said as she lifted her chest up and smiled seductively.

Shi Yu frowned again. The woman was unusually displeasing to him. He flung his cigar into a crystal ashtray nearby and regarded Tang Yan with cold eyes. “Get her out of here.” 

There was a sudden chill in the air, which oozed an unknown vibe.

It was apparent that Shi Yu was not in the mood. Tang Yan smiled wrily before he led the beautiful woman out of the room. “Well, I’m afraid the fire has already been tamed.”

Upon their exit, Shi Yu slammed his fist on a table…
