Chapter 110.2 – Have You Laughed Enough!?

Lu Sheng wasn’t crying loudly, just silently shedding her tears, and now she was sobbing uncontrollably. Upon hearing this, she looked at Lu Qipei with eyes hazy with tears and said expectantly, “Uncle, what I just ate wasn’t rabbit meat, right?”

Well, Qi Yang didn’t lie about that. It was indeed a plate of rabbit meat.

Lu Qipei was speechless for a moment, and the little dumpling immediately saw it and cried even more aggrievedly.

She widened her eyes in surprise, tugging at Lu Qipei’s sleeves with one hand and pointing at the rabbit cage with the other. “Little rabbit?”

Lu Qipei then smiled and said, “En, little rabbit. It’s for you, does Ah Sheng like it?”

The tears on her face hadn’t disappeared yet, but upon hearing those word, Lu Sheng’s face immediately burst into a huge smile. She looked at the rabbit, then at Lu Qipei, her eyes still slightly wet but sparkling. She nodded heavily and said, “En, Ah Sheng likes it. Thank you, Uncle.”

Satisfied, Lu Qipei took out a handkerchief to dry her face and let her go to the maid to get the rabbit.

When the little dumpling ran away, Lu Qipei raised her eyebrows at Qi Yang with a deep smile in her eyes. Just before she could say anything, Qi Yang pinched her earlobe and said with a smirk, “Ah Pei is really cunning. You just want to see me make a joke of myself, huh?”

Of course, she could not tell the truth here. Lu Qipei blinked her eyes and feigned an innocent look, “How could that be? It’s just that I didn’t have time to tell this to Your Highness.” As she said that, she tentatively tried holding Qi Yang’s hand and make her slowly loosen her grip. “I was worried that it would be difficult to explain to Lu Sheng when we get back, so I had someone ask around in the convoy. Sure enough, someone had caught a live rabbit, so I asked for one first.”

Qi Yang was not so easy to deal with, so she snorted softly and said, “You and I have been together all the time, how could there not be any time to say something?”

Speaking of it, Qi Yang also found it very weird. Lu Qipei had been with her all the time, and she had not seen her ordering people to ask for rabbits, nor had she seen people coming back to report. When did she actually get this rabbit?

She held the rabbit in her arms and the plate of rabbit meat with satisfaction in her eyes. She asked a maid for chopsticks, then took a bite of the rabbit meat and… Ooh, it’s so delicious!
