Su Hongxing handed the coffee to Mo Li: “Your favorite coffee. It’s Saturday today, do you really need to push yourself so hard? Still working overtime, why not spend more time on personal matters?”

Mo Li chuckled: “The woman I like is married, so all I can do is bury myself in work to heal my heartache.”

He took a sip of coffee: “It’s impressive you still remember that I like this coffee.”

“We’ve been friends for many years, my memory isn’t that bad.” Su Hongxing looked at the time: “How about this? I’ll treat you to dinner tonight, and after that, I’ll take you to a movie.”

Mo Li was flattered and looked at Su Hongxing with disbelief: “Am I hearing things?”

“Seems like I haven’t been nice enough to you in the past.” Su Hongxing spoke earnestly: “You heard right, I’m treating you to dinner and a movie, is that clear enough?”

Mo Li glanced at his watch: “Let’s do this. We’ll go watch the movie now, and have dinner afterward, so you can get home early.”

After Ye Zheng brought Lin Zhi home, he noticed that Lin Zhi was still sitting on the sofa, lost in thought.

“Did Su Hongxing say something that upset you?” Ye Zheng asked. From the car ride to getting home, Lin Zhi seemed distracted, as if something was on her mind.

Lin Zhi came back to her senses and smiled: “No.”

“We’ve been married for so many years, can you really hide your troubles from me? What exactly did she talk to you about? You’ve been out of it the whole time.” Ye Zheng knew Lin Zhi too well, and he could easily tell that her mind was elsewhere.

“She told me that she wants to take revenge for Ye Qilan. She also said that if she finds out who the real mastermind behind Ye Qilan’s death is, she’ll take ruthless revenge.” Lin Zhi leaned on Ye Zheng, deep in thought.

“That’s her business, why should it bother you?” Ye Zheng dismissed it, not taking Su Hongxing seriously at all.

Lin Zhi whispered: “Maybe it’s not just her business…”

Ye Zheng did not hear her clearly and was about to ask more when Lin Zhi stood up and said: “I’m going to call Mo Li.”

When Mo Li received Lin Zhi’s call, he was in line to buy movie tickets.

“It’s noisy where you are, are you outside?”

Mo Li looked at Su Hongxing not far away, his eyes softened: “I’m with Su outside, about to watch a movie.”

“Who did you say?” Lin Zhi thought she had misheard.
