Speaking thus, he deliberately showed the cheque, swirling it around in front of Elder Ye as if about to leave.

“Mr. Ding, please don’t go!” Ye Ling was the first to react, blocking Ye Qilan’s way.

She had once called Su Hongxing for help, who had declined at the time. But with Ding Ye appearing here with a cheque, could it be that Su Hongxing was actually helping the Ye Family?

Ye Qilan paused in his steps, looking at Ye Ling.

Ye Ling put on a smile, “Did the fourth sister-in-law ask Mr. Ding for help, right?”

Ye Qilan did not respond, his expression proud and aloof.

As he spoke, he readily handed the cheque to Ye Ling, “Ye Ling, you’re right. I helped because of Su Hongxing’s sake. Otherwise, with Elder Ye’s arrogant face, I’d rather feed the cheque to the dogs than help your Ye Family!”

Elder Ye was infuriated by Ye Qilan, wanting to retort but fearing that Ye Qilan might regret and take back the cheque, he forcefully suppressed his anger.

Ye Ling immediately handed the cheque to Abao, “We’ve paid off our debt now. Before you leave the Ye Family, you must fully compensate for the furniture you damaged!”
