Chapter 25 Countermeasure

Beside him, Sunny was unhappy. “Why are you spouting nonsense? Although my brother Zachary doesn’t get along with Bailey, he has always been upright and honest. Even when they compete on things, it has always been a public thing and he has never played any tricks on Bailey.”

Bailey nodded her head in agreement. He doesn’t play tricks on her, he does it to others.

Zachary said in a neutral tone, “If we’re going to be treated as the mastermind just because we’re watching the show, then there are many masterminds today. None of you here can escape.”

Zachary played the trick of diverting the trouble away, instantly infuriating the crowd. The people around him began to vent their dissatisfaction.

“That’s right. What kind of person is he? His own daughter was the one who committed something so shameless and he is actually blaming others for it!”

“This is too disgusting. We were just forced to come in and watch the show. In the end, we were extorted. Is there any justice?”

“He didn’t do it secretly and even left the door open for others to see. And now, he is even blaming others for seeing it. What kind of logic is this?”

Xavier, who was on the bed, was completely awake. He hurriedly hinted to his father, Harry, to chase everyone out. He had to put on his clothes first, but when he saw the torn clothes on the ground, he felt a sense of despair.

Harry immediately spread his arms and together with his wife, they pushed the crowd of onlookers out. He said loudly, “Please leave, or I’ll call the police.”

Bailey felt that she had watched enough, and her lips curled into a thought-provoking smile. She said indifferently, “It seems that Xavier and my cousin are very close? I’ll wish you that both of you will last long then!”

After saying so, Bailey turned around and left with a smile.

Xavier panicked and wanted to explain, but he sat down again the moment he got up. Damn it, he had nothing to wear!

Zachary touched his chin and said reluctantly, “A good show is a good show, but it’s too short. Xavier, if you want to perform next time, remember to send a notice in advance. I’ll bring some snacks and eat them while watching. Only then will it be interesting!” Sunny and the others also glanced at Xavier and Julia mockingly before following Zachary. Xavier was so angry that his eyes were about to split open. Although he didn’t know what was going on, he had a feeling that this matter definitely had something to do with Zachary. “Xavier, remember to submit your resignation letter when you return to school. “Director!” Xavier shouted in horror. A university professor was a glamorous layer of skin in this society. Without this layer of skin, how could he climb up?

The director only snorted coldly and left with the other school leaders.

Xavier slumped onto the bed. All his hard work over the past few years had gone to waste. Seeing that everyone had left, the parents of the two families also went out to get clothes for them with an unspoken mutual understanding. For some reason, the two of them had such an intense session that their clothes were torn into pieces.

Julia sobbed and asked softly, “Brother Xavier, what should we do next? My sister knows, your parents know, everyone knows.”

It was indeed embarrassing, but the only solution to this matter was for her to marry Xavier. Didn’t Bailey already say that she had broken up with Xavier? If she was discovered to be with Xavier now, she wouldn’t be considered a mistress, right?

Xavier buried his face in his palms and fell silent for a moment. He looked up, his eyes still filled with unwillingness. He gritted his teeth and said, “The two of us were drugged. We are victims. Do you understand what I said?”

“We’ll go to your sister’s house in a while and beg for forgiveness on our knees. You have to make it clear to your sister that you are determined not to be with me. If you don’t love me, your sister will forgive us. That way, I still have a chance.” Xavier’s eyes were still filled with faint hope as he said in a deep voice.

Julia was shocked and asked in disbelief, “Don’t tell me you still want to be with Bailey?”

Xavier looked at Julia and said in a coaxing tone, “I’ve already been expelled from school. If I don’t rely on your sister, how can I give you a good life? Julia, don’t be willful. You don’t want to live a miserable life with me in the future, right?”
