As Ethan exits the door, the girl’s eyes slowly close, tears of blood fading at the corners.
Ethan sighs, carries the boy and moves on.
Faced with such beasts, her resilience to kill five before suicide is commendable.
Her child blindingly struck before her eyes, yet powerless.
If it were him, Ethan shudders at the thought.
In these underground caverns, positioned as Heavenly Path Institute’s underlings.
Patrolling for centuries, twisted inside, only able to torment those lower, the mine slaves.
