“I had some training at home.” Yun Wei, playacting, almost hit him in the face with her fist.

Lu Zhanting caught her by the wrist and glared at her. “Trying to murder your husband?”

“What husband?” For a moment, Yun Wei was confused.

“Do I need to remind you of the incident at the hospital?”

When Yun Wei noticed the gleaming jade bangle on her arm, it finally dawned on her that they were an engaged couple.

Surprised, she asked, “Did you come here just to see me?”

“From tonight onward, I will be staying here,” Lu Zhanting announced bluntly and matter-of-factly.

In fact, he’d already brought his luggage with him.

Because of the incident earlier, staying here now appeared to be more critical than ever.
