“I’m very fine.” His voice had turned a little hoarse. After answering, he did something that made the other two’s eyes pop out of their sockets.

He placed the glass in his hand on the table, stood up, and walked toward the bartender.

Yun Shenhan jumped in fright. “Jingyao, what’s wrong with you?”

He moved to stop him but was stopped by Huo Yanzhao.

The latter had an intrigued look. “He’s fine.”

“Hm?” Yun Shenhan was perplexed.

“Watch.” Huo Yanzhao revealed a meaningful smile.

Su Zhixi, of course, knew that the small group of men opposite were looking at her, but she did not give two hoots about it.

A year and a half ago, she’d started working part-time here in the Four Seasons Bar. She had been stared at with all sorts of gazes and had already gotten used to it. Gazes were just that.
