Sitting in front was a young man dressed in full-on trendy attire. He wore a vest like a t-shirt, revealing his tattoo-covered arm. The colorful tattoos on his arm combined with his fashionable outfit made him exceptionally eye-catching.

He seemed to have just finished with the previous customer and was getting impatient. Without even looking up, he replaced the props and asked, “What kind of tattoo do you want?”

The shop’s sign had been blocked by the line of customers earlier, and it was only now that Chi Enen noticed it was a newly opened tattoo shop.

They seemed to be currently running a promotion–one word or a simple little design for only 99 yuan.

No wonder there were so many people lining up.

But they weren’t here for a tattoo.

Chi Enen pulled Li Beijue, ready to leave, “Sorry, we don’t–”

The striking man had already sat down, his thin lips pressed together in a husky tone. Even without seeing his face, his voice was exceptionally pleasant to the ear. “A word!”

The boss involuntarily lifted his head upon hearing his voice.

It was then he realized the man sitting across from him radiated an extraordinary aura, unlike an ordinary person.

During the boss’s moment of distraction, Li Beijue had already taken out his wallet, pulled out a stack of money, and pushed it across the table. “I’m booking your time!”

“All… all this for me?” The boss stared at the pile of cash on the table, his eyes wide in disbelief.

What was going on?

Was this their first day of business, and they’d already encountered a big client?

Li Beijue didn’t even flinch, his tone indifferent, “Do a good job, and it’s all yours.”

“You can count on me–I’ll give my best!” The boss responded decisively, instructing the waiter nearby, “Hey, go pour two cups of water. Also, fetch my tool bag from the back room.”

Chi Enen watched with wide eyes as the waiter quickly brought out a set of tattoo tools from the back room, which were completely different from the ones he had just used.

Though both sets were brand-new and unopened, the tools he brought out now were clearly much more sophisticated than the previous ones!

Indeed, money makes the world go around!

But…

“Li Beijue, are you really getting a tattoo?”

“I’m not getting one–should I let you get one instead?” His tone was as impatient as it could get!

To begin with, if he were to get a tattoo, anyone without an international tattoo artist certificate wouldn’t even qualify to be a part of the design process. It was even less likely that he would casually get one from some small-time shop. Yet since they were already here, if he didn’t get a tattoo, letting a random stranger tattoo her was even more out of the question!

If he really let the man in front of him hold Chi Enen’s hand, touching and tattooing her, he feared he wouldn’t be able to resist snapping the man’s wrist!

So, he had no choice but to reluctantly get one.

“Sir, give me your wrist,” the boss, startled by his commanding aura, guessed that he might be dealing with some sort of celebrity this time.

Considering the man’s height, aura, and fully prepped appearance, the boss thought he might very well be encountering a famous celebrity out on a date with his girlfriend.

The mere thought of his tattoo potentially making it onto television and essentially serving as free advertisement made the boss instantly switch into high gear, eager to showcase his skills!

Li Beijue extended his left hand.

“Sir, what word or design would you like to tattoo?”

“Chi!”

“Chi? As in the ‘Chi’ for pool of water?”

“Chi as in Chi Enen!” His tone was decisive and firm.

The boss was stunned–Chi Enen? What kind of ‘Chi’ is that? Is it famous? But why hadn’t he heard of this name before…
