“Why did you suddenly decide to give me this?” Chi Enen was puzzled. Today wasn’t a special day of any sort. Her birthday had passed not long ago. An anniversary? But they didn’t seem to have any particular anniversary. Why was he giving her a gift all of a sudden?

Li Beijue had never encountered a woman so oblivious to romance. Narrowing his pupils, his thin lips quirked with a faint touch of disdain. “Do I need a reason to give you something? I was in a good mood. Do you have a problem with that?”
