Chapter 26: Treat Women Fairly and Tenderly

“We don’t owe each other anything anymore?” Beiming Han pinched her chin and laughed angrily. His smirk was exceedingly evil, and even the vibrant sunshine in the air only seemed to serve him, enhancing his ill intentions.

However, it was very cold.

“What else do you want?” Gu Qingxin stared at him with a shocked expression on her face. “I slept with him the other night, and he slept with me last night. Doesn’t this mean that we are equal now?” she thought.

“What kind of relationship do we have? ‘Whatever I say goes’?! You don’t have the right to do this!” Gu Qingxin exclaimed.

“Is she that eager to draw a clear line between us and cut me off?” Beiming Han thought.

An uncontrollable rage unfurled in Beiming Han’s chest once again. “One simple statement from this woman is enough to provoke me into losing control,” he thought.

In his fury, he pinned her against the wall. “Even if she wants to draw a clear line between us, it all depends on whether I agree with it,” he thought.

“Let me go, you b*stard! You cannot treat me like this,” Gu Qingxin said as she battered him relentlessly with her hands. Yet, she found herself unable to escape from his tyranny and strength.

“Beg me, or I’ll kill you!” Beiming Han’s gaze was incredibly cold and without a trace of warmth.

Gu Qingxin was almost rendered speechless by the pain, but she endeavored and stubbornly stared at the tyrannical man. “You must be dreaming if you want me to beg you! I won’t beg a rapist, over my dead body!”

“Good, very good!” Beiming Han’s fury was fully ignited now. “I want to see just how stubborn you can be!”

Gu Qingxin regained consciousness in the bathtub. When she opened her eyes, she was greeted with the sight of a kind face. The other person held a damp towel and dabbed at her shoulder with a pained expression on her face.

“Where am I?” Gu Qingxin looked at the other person blankly, unaware of her whereabouts.

“Madam, you’re finally awake. You’re soaking in the medicated bathwater. Poor child, Master Beiming shouldn’t have done this. He doesn’t know how to treat women fairly and tenderly at all,” the middle-aged woman grumbled.

When Gu Qingxin thought of the tyrannical man, her eyes narrowed. She realized that he had once again taken advantage of her and that he had every intention to kill her.

“Madam, please don’t be afraid. Master Beiming will not do anything to seriously harm you,” the middle-aged woman said as if sensing her fear. She gripped Gu Qingxin’s hands.

Gu Qingxin’s gaze landed on her face. She clutched the woman’s hands tightly as well and said, “Can you please let me out of here? I don’t wish to continue being here.”

“Master Beiming has instructed that you can leave when you regain consciousness,” the middle-aged lady hurriedly explained.

“Really? He’s willing to let me go?” Gu Qingxin cautiously sought her confirmation, afraid that she might have misheard those words.

She did not wish to continue being here, not even for a second.

“Yes, that’s right,” the middle-aged woman confirmed.

“In that case, I want to leave right now.” Gu Qingxin immediately stood up in the bathtub. She lowered her head and discovered a damp towel wrapped around her body.

The middle-aged woman did not stop her. She stood up as well, and murmured, “In that case, please change into your clothes. I’ll wait for you outside.”

The middle-aged lady left. Gu Qingxin immediately removed the damp towel around her body, wiped herself dry, picked up the clothes that were placed beside her, and wore them.

Her teeth dug mercilessly into her lips. She did not want to let herself cry, but her tears were swirling unbearably in her eyes.

“I’ll treat what happened last night as me repaying my debt to him. As for what happened today… I’ll just imagine that I was bitten by a dog!” she thought.

After she changed into her clothes, Gu Qingxin quickly left the bathroom. Now, all she wanted to do was get out of this place.

“Auntie, can I leave now?” Gu Qingxin asked when she saw the kind woman from earlier and nervously grabbed her hand.
