“Pirates are cunning, I came to see if there were any that escaped the net…”

Mo Hua nodded.

“And you? What are you doing here?” the man’s gaze narrowed, quickly asking.

Mo Hua brought up Gu Changhuai, “Uncle Gu asked me to search around to see if there were any hidden stolen goods on the island.”

After saying this, Mo Hua looked around cautiously and nervously asked, “Are there any ferocious pirates here?”

“No…”

“That’s good…” Mo Hua obviously breathed a sigh of relief.

After a while of silence inside, the person said:

“I’ve checked, it’s very safe here. You might find some stolen goods if you look further. I have something to attend to, so I won’t accompany you.”

Mo Hua also smiled, “Okay, thank you, Brother Xiao.”

The person in the chamber smiled kindly at Mo Hua and then got up and left.

Xiao Tianquan nodded and said, “Okay, be careful, watch out for pirates.”

After Mo Hua left, Xiao Tianquan’s expression turned blank as he silently watched Mo Hua’s back, his gaze obscure and ever-changing.
