Late at night, the sound of a hubcap rolling across the floor could be heard in the quiet and cold villa.

In the rehabilitation room at the top floor of the villa, Jin Yang pushed his wheelchair away and gripped the rehabilitation equipment tightly, wanting to speed up his recovery.

In the shadows in the corner, Qiu Tong stared at him quietly, clenching her fists tightly as she silently cheered him on.

Jin Yang soon became so exhausted that he trembled all over and nearly fell off the device, Qiu Tong hurriedly ran out to stabilize him.

Qiu Tong wiped his sweat with a towel. Jin Yang avoided her gaze with a look of annoyance.

During this period, everyone had been very careful about Jin Yang’s feelings. But he felt very suffocated.

Qiu Tong placed her hand gently on his shoulder and massaged his tensed muscles. She whispered, “Don’t be anxious. Take your time.”

Time passed quickly. Half a month later, Jin Yang was able to move freely. Apart from not being able to carry heavy items, he was no different from a normal person.

Qiu Tong often saw Song Yan pacing back and forth at the bedroom door. He seemed to want to thank Jin Yang, but he always chose to give up and turn around to leave. It was as if there was a wall separating them. Qiu Tong held a glass of hot milk and gently pushed the door open.

Jin Yang came out of the bathroom with water dripping from the ends of his hair. He wiped his hair with a towel, his eyes as bright and innocent as a young man.

Qiu Tong handed him the milk, wanting to tell him about Song Yan.

Jin Yang took two sips. Before she could react, he wrapped his arms around her neck and transferred the warm milk into her mouth. The fragrance lingered in their mouths as she placed her soft hands on his thin waist and accidentally pulled off the towel covering his lower body.

Jin Yang let go of her lips and caressed her earlobe with his fingertips. He whispered, “Are you in a hurry?”

Qiu Tong’s face instantly turned red. She wanted to explain herself, but Jin Yang didn’t give her any chance. He gently pulled her towards the bed. Qiu Tong was worried that any vigorous action would affect his recently healed wound, so she followed obediently.

She raised her fingertips and carefully traced Jin Yang’s features under the mottled light.

Her warm fingers caressed his straight eyebrows, his deep eyes and his thin lips. Qiu Tong couldn’t control her emotions as she hooked her arms around his neck and kissed him. Complicated emotions surged into her heart. She gently pushed Jin Yang’s shoulders and pressed him onto the bed. Her slender and fair legs straddled his waist, and her perky buttocks pressed against him as she deliberately twisted and squeezed.

Jin Yang’s eyes darkened as he tried to take off her pajamas. However, Qiu Tong stopped him and slowly unhooked her bra strap.

In the ambiguous light, Qiu Tong bit her soft red lips. Her plump and round breasts broke free from the restraints of her undergarment. Jin Yang’s Adam’s apple bobbed uncontrollably as he eagerly grabbed Qiu Tong’s buttocks.

Qiu Tong teased him for a long time before allowing him to enter her.

The two of them sighed in satisfaction. Jin Yang and Qiu Tong moved in unison, with Qiu Tong gently massaging his chest and swaying her hips.

Jin Yang raised his hand and held her soft chest, his breathing heavy and rapid.

This long-awaited moment of love brought with it the urgency of someone who had experienced the touch of death. Qiu Tong’s face was filled with joy as her red lips let out a soft moan. In the end, she went limp and laid on Jin Yang’s body, letting him control their movements as he pleased.

It was only in the wee hours of the morning when the sky outside the window started to light up that Jin Yang finally stopped. Qiu Tong’s eyes were misty as she laid beside him.

In her half-asleep state, she didn’t forget to tell him what Song Yan had said. Jin Yang paused for a moment before gently stroking her sweat-drenched curly hair and planting a gentle kiss on her brows. “Thank you.”

The next morning, Song Yan appeared at the bedroom door as usual. He placed the breakfast he had prepared on the floor and turned to leave.

The door opened at that moment and Jin Yang met his gaze. He said lightly, “Shall we have a chat?”

Song Yan frowned and followed him to the balcony on the top floor.

The morning breeze blew across his face. Jin Yang looked at the rising sun before turning to look at Song Yan. “That stray dog was poisoned by my father. I wanted to stop him, but I didn’t succeed in the end. He didn’t want us to know how to sympathize with the weak.”

Song Yan’s pupils dilated, but he did not answer.

Jin Yang heaved a long sigh of relief. “As for your girlfriend, she did confess to me, but I rejected her.”

“I’ve never had the thought of fighting with you. Moreover, those are things and people that I don’t care about at all. You’re my younger brother. Father hopes that we’ll be afraid of each other. He relies on you to keep me in check, while using me to agitate you.”

“But I know that you’re actually a kind person. It’s just that you’re easily influenced by others.”

Song Yan couldn’t withstand the impact of the truth. He shook his head repeatedly and took a few steps back. His thin lips curled into a bitter smile as he denied it. “No, impossible. You’re lying. I don’t believe…”
