Prologue

“Finally, there’s only one last step left…”

The red-haired man in a robe looked down on the girl, who was lying on the podium, with a bitter gaze.

She was a beautiful woman with a small, slender porcelain-like face, a sharp nose, and thick lips. Her eyes were tightly shut that if it were not for the constant rise and fall of her chest, no one would have thought she was alive.

The man reached out slowly and carefully caressed the long, gleaming silver hair that seemed to cover her naked body. His handsome face which seemed like a sculpture quickly became distorted.

“I sacrificed so much to revive this country along with you…However, I wasn’t able to make your eyes open…and eventually you took everything I gained.”

The blue veins raised on the back of his hand as his grip on her hair became stronger. The pain that seemed to glint in his silvery eyes was so intense that it seemed to bring a dark aura.

After looking down at her hair for a long time, his eyes turned away. The eyes that flickered with such intense emotions just a little while ago no longer held any feelings.

“So I will not fail this time…”

Slowly.

The robe that the man wore fell to the ground. After a while, the girl’s slender body was completely covered with his sturdy body.
