“Shut up!” Yu Bolan glared at him and turned to look at Ji Liunian. “Yichen will bring you to the shopping mall later. You’re getting married soon and nothing’s ready. That’s not right!”

“Thank you, Uncle Yu.” Ji Liunian knew that Yu Bolan was doing this to ease the tension between her and Yu Yichen. But, she also knew that this was an exercise in futility.

Yu Bolan smiled. “You’re still calling me ‘Uncle Yu’?”

Ji Liunian was slightly taken aback. She lowered her head and said emotionally, “Dad.”

No matter how the rest of the Yu family treated her, Yu Bolan really doted on her.

“Are you done? If you’re done, I’m going back to the office.” Yu Yichen stood up and yawned in boredom, as if it had nothing to do with him.

“Leave work for later!” Yu Bolan’s expression darkened. “You will accompany Liunian to the mall this afternoon, and pick out the wedding dress!”

“Dad, if Yichen is very busy, I can do it by myself…”

“How can we make you pick out the wedding dress alone? Today, it is the wedding dress. Tomorrow, is it going to be the wedding ceremony? He’s too busy for that too? He will go with you!”
