Chapter 31 – Medical Practice (1)

Yes, he bumped.

With his own strength, he successfully knocked down the crazy horse.

One person and one horse fell heavily on the street!

And almost at the same time, Su Xiaoxiao seized the opportunity to kick the cart in front of her!

The cart flew out in a swish, and hit the carriage that was thrown out.

The carriage stopped like a brake in front of the old couple who had no time to run away. 

The old couple looked at the carriage that was so close to them, and their legs feel weak because of the fright.

After the horse was knocked down, it struggled a few times. The young man took out a handkerchief that had medicine, covered its nose and mouth, and made it unconscious.

The young man also seemed to be injured too, his expression looked like he was in great pain.

Su Xiaoxiao walked over and asked him, “Are you all right?”

The young man covered his left arm and said, “No…”

Before he finished speaking, a woman’s exclamation came from the shop behind him: “Little young master! Little young master, what’s wrong with you? Don’t scare this slave!”

This shop was the most expensive snack shop in the town – Jinji.

The accident happened to a 5 years old boy, wearing a royal blue brocade robe.

Just now, he was eating roasted chestnuts. But who would have imagined meeting a young man who bumped into a horse? And that horse was exactly under his windowsill.

Su Xiaoxiao grabbed the young man’s dislocated arm and snapped it back into the original position. Then, regardless of the young man’s surprise, she quickly rushed into the Jinji.

“Why are you crying? Go find the doctor quickly! The medical center is right in front! Hurry up and take the child over there!”

The one who spoke was the shopkeeper of Jinji.

The servant girl had long been panicked. How could she still be able to hold a five years old child?

A kind young man reached out and hugged the little boy from her arms.

Su Xiaoxiao’s eyes were cold and stopped him: “Give me the child.”

The young man looked strangely at the fat village girl who suddenly appeared: “Who are you?”

Su Xiaoxiao looked at the little boy who was gradually losing consciousness, and said sternly, “Give me the child, he is dying!”

This child obviously suffers hypoxia1!

1Hypoxia : a low levels of oxygen in your body tissues ; lacking oxygen

Generally speaking, if hypoxia exceeded one minute, the breathing would stop. If hypoxia exceeded three minutes, cerebral edema2 would occur, and if it exceeded six minutes, it would cause irreversible damage to the organs of the body, or even death from suffocation!

2Cerebral Edema : is also known as brain swelling.  It’s a life threatening condition that causes fluid to develop in the brain.

The young man frowned and said, “Little girl, don’t make trouble! I have to take this child to the medical center!”

One of the guests was disgusted and said, “Where did the village girl come from? What’s the trouble?”

The two elders shook their heads.

“Alas, Old Zhang’s family is choking so bad, there is no way to save him!”

“Yeah, even if he goes to the medical center, there’s no way to save him.”

Su Xiaoxiao did not question the doctors’ medical skills, but said to the young man, “The medical center is too far away. You can’t make it in time! I can save him!”

Are you kidding? A fat village girl actually said she could cure such a dangerous choke?

No one believed Su Xiaoxiao’s words, and no one dared to give her the child.
