EX-Brave Noticed

When we arrived at Hanoi village, I immediately brought him to see the building. When we reached it, I explained with a guilty smile,  “It’s the best building in the village. As expected, my level of magic is not enough to fix this”

Seeing it, Amur looks up and whistles, “Hee…….” The first building in the village is the church.

In the old days, it used to act as the village’s meeting-house, and it was very lively, listening to the pastor’s story, discussing our concerns, and so on. But…. It was a long time ago, the walls were now tattered and the roof had holes because it was struck by rain and wind for many years.

Leaning forward, Amur touches the wall to check how it feels. “Is the soil used for this wall taken from this area?”

Thinking for a moment, I reply, “It seems so…. I think.”

Rubbing his chin, Amur asks, “Is the wood used for floors and roofs the same?” I nodded. Seeing my nod, Amur smiles,  “I see, I see…….” Amur then nodded once, as if he came to a decision.

Seeing that, I ask, “Can it be fixed?” Nodding with a hint of pride, Amur replies,  “Definitely, it’ll be okay. It will look just like it did in the old days.” Surprised, I couldn’t help but ask, “Seriously?”

With a hum, Amur replies, “Eeee, it will be okay if I use the best “materials” in this land.”

Surprised at the unexpected answer, I ask, “Huh? The best materials?”

“Yes, the soil here is really suitable for construction, and if you can manage the trees, the wood will be the best too”

Looking at him, still shocked, I ask, “…….Is it really such a good thing?”

With a sheepish smile again, Amur replies, “I don’t know if it’s close by. After all, it’s already a good thing to be in the middle of the mountains. It is a treasure for architects, this land is”

It seems to me that Amur is excited.
