Upon realizing that he was too far away from the planet, Noland Lee resolutely gave up flying and turned to teleportation instead.

The first thing he thought of was to summon the Snow-winged Cat for help.

But unfortunately, the Snow-winged Cat did not materialize.

He had no choice but to cast the spell himself and use the “Light Energy Transmission Technique” to teleport.

A flash of light passed by, and the scene before Noland’s eyes changed rapidly–in the next second, he arrived at a desolate planet covered with grey sand.

The howling wind swept past, whistling in his ears.

The gray sand struck his body, each grain bringing with it an intensely realistic experience.

Noland grew even more bewildered.

Where was he now?

Was he still in outer space?

But if he was in outer space, where was his Snow-winged Cat, and where was the “Heart of Magic”?

Could it be that he was now in the Barren Universe?

Because he was too far from outer space, was that why he couldn’t sense the Snow-winged Cat?

“That’s indeed possible. Perhaps something serious happened around me after the Assassin Angel broke free, and that’s why they sent me to the Barren Universe,” he speculated optimistically in his mind, and immediately began to use the “Star Observing Art” to determine his location.

If he could find even one planet among the myriad stars that he had heard of before, he could find his way back.

“Nameless planets, nameless planets, uninhabited planets, desolate planets with no names…”

Time passed while he observed the stars, with feedback information forming in his mind, all pointing to the answer Noland had expected.

He was surrounded by unfamiliar celestial bodies, utterly lost, without a single planet he recognized, nor one that recognized him.

Just as Noland started to feel disheartened, an unusual feedback from the information made him suddenly alert.

Using the “Star Observing Art,” he had detected a familiar constellation.

Noland gazed into the distance, focusing on a small area dense with starlight, and cast the “Star Observing Art” once more.

The feedback in his mind was consistent with what he had identified earlier.

The Cane tip seat was the constellation where the Inner Cosmos was located!

Without a second thought, Noland cast the “Light Energy Transmission Technique” repeatedly, using various planets as jumping points and heading towards the black hole.

The starlight symbolizing the Cane tip seat enlarged bit by bit, and more stars appeared before him.

After an indeterminable amount of time, Noland finally reached the Cane tip seat, standing at the central location of this constellation.

He began searching for the largest black hole in the Cane tip seat, which was where the Inner Cosmos lay.

After several searches, Noland didn’t find the black hole, but he did notice a peculiar illuminated object.

It was a small stone floating in the Cane tip seat, hardly qualifying as a celestial body, merely the size of a palm.

It radiated a soft fire-like light, and it was untouchable, unmovable.

A digit “0” that didn’t fit in with the surrounding environment floated around it.

Noland felt this glowing mass was very familiar and, on impulse, raised his hand and touched the digit “0”.

Suddenly, numerous ribbons of light shot out from the glowing mass. The digit “0” remained unchanged, but Noland’s body involuntarily flew backward at nearly the speed of light, following the ribbons of light.

Stars became fine lines streaking past him, celestial bodies stretched and distorted into noodles, and the Milky Way approached him at a breakneck pace, then quickly left behind.

Before Noland could collect his senses, the involuntary backward flight had ended.

Noland stopped in a vacuum area.

Looking around, Noland was dumbstruck–it was the same place where he had awoken from his delusion.

How did he end up back here?

And where had his small cottage gone?

Could it be that the recent forceful movement also had a reset function for the space, returning everything here to its original state?

Just as Noland was about to figure out the situation, he suddenly noticed that everything around him began to vibrate.

In just two seconds, the faint vibration of the celestial bodies and stars had escalated into a violent tremor visible to the naked eye.

Invisible shockwaves came from all directions, enveloping Noland entirely.

Unable to move, Noland’s vision darkened, and he passed out.

“Did the ceremony succeed?” a woman’s voice asked.

“It did,” answered a gender-neutral voice.

The woman who had asked the question said quickly:

“Good, hand him over to me, I’ll take him away right now.”

Noland Lee slowly opened his eyes, and two figures appeared in his blurry vision.

The figure to the left was a milky luminescent entity, and the one to the right was shrouded in purple fog, making it hard to discern any outlines.

“Where is this… Who are you?” Noland asked weakly.

The figure covered in purple fog sent out a ribbon of mist, wrapping it around Noland who was on the ground, pulling him up beside itself, and started moving swiftly.

Lights and shadows changed rapidly around them.

Noland saw the somewhat familiar interior of a space station, spotted the brain-shaped facility shrinking rapidly behind him, noticed the milky figure vanishing into thin air next to the brain-shaped structure, as well as the ritual array materials scattered all around and the Angel Crystals that had lost their luster.

“Am I still on the Angel’s Voice Space Station?… Hissss… Then what did I see before?”

Managing to recognize his surroundings, Noland only felt his mind was in turmoil, with countless overlapping images making it hard to distinguish reality from illusion.

The purple fog figure suddenly accelerated, propelling Noland out of the space station in an instant, dashing through the battlefield filled with ceaseless gunshots, heading straight into the starry sky.

Seconds later, the surroundings fell silent and cold, and Noland had already arrived at an unknown and desolate star system with the purple fog figure.
