It was very fast on CEO Liu’s end as well. The moment she accepted, the other party immediately arranged for them to meet at STAR at night.

Even though CEO Liu came for her through this deal, she could not scrimp on the superficial work, like all the drawings for all the Yan Zhang Company’s residential flats, main advertising slogans, the sample for future renovations, designs, and the like.

STAR Clubhouse was the most exclusive and high-end entertainment venue in Yan City. Downstairs was a slightly more formal reservation-based restaurant, while the upstairs had a bar, a night club and other areas for leisure activities. With the highest floors designed to be luxurious hotels, this place was considered as the one-stop service in entertainment, leisure, and fine dining.

In one of the luxurious private rooms in STAR, Qin Zhiyou leaned back relaxingly against the lounge. He took the last card the croupier gave him with one hand, and his other was holding the wine glass. As he took a sip of alcohol, his handsome eyes narrowed as though he was thinking of something.

Meanwhile, the phone on the table kept flashing, but he was too lazy to look at it. On the side, Yu Sixing could not take it any longer and reminded him, “Your phone has been ringing all night. Even if you’re not frustrated, I’m annoyed to death. If it’s some woman looking for you…”

Qin Zhiyou’s brows moved. He put down the wine glass as his long fingers slid across the screen. His dark eyes gently scanned across his WeChat, before he threw his phone back onto the table in disinterest.

He Weiyou poked his head over and took a look, before pouting. “How can you be working when your brothers specifically came out for you tonight? You’re too unethical.”

Qin Zhiyou did not answer as he threw the cards in his hands aside. “My shout for the alcohol tonight.”

Yu Sixing and He Weiyou exchanged glances. They could tell he wasn’t in a good mood today. Yu Sixing squeezed over, extended his arm and held his shoulders, as he comforted in a smiling manner, “Since we’re out to play, we must play to our heart’s content. Coincidentally, I invested in a livestream website a few months ago and there are a few decent female hosts there. Should I call them over to come and play with us?”

Qin Zhiyou raised his head slightly and downed another mouthful of alcohol, a smile on his face. “Sure.”

Very quickly, the private room door was knocked on and a few girls wearing short skirts sashayed in with their hips swaying, and everyone had a girl beside them. Not talking about the face of the one beside Qin Zhiyou, she had very good legs which were long and fair. Her face was flirtatious and passionate, as she immediately poured alcohol for him once she sat down.

Qin Zhiyou sat at the side of the couch and just smiled without a word. Once he finished the wine in his cup, the woman beside him immediately poured more for him. Qin Zhiyou held the alcohol glass and swirled it around. When the glistening alcohol moved and the large cubes of ice hit against the glass, it made slight clinking sounds. He squinted his eyes as he looked at the alcohol, and his gaze seemed to become increasingly distant.

Yu Sixing held his alcohol and sat over while smiling. “How is it? Not bad, right?”

Qin Zhiyou acknowledged and continued, “The quality is not bad for female workers that lost their jobs in Dongguan.”

The moment he said that, the faces of the girls instantly changed. He Weiyou still wanted to say something, but he saw that Qin Zhiyou had put down his glass, took his jacket and walked toward the door in long strides.

Taking out his phone, he saw that Lu Weixi’s last text was before that phone call. Afterward, she did not call him again and did not leave any message either.
