Chapter 24: My Only Condition

Their eyes met over a distance of several meters. Fang Chixia stared at him quietly, as if she was struggling with something. Her eyes twinkled and suddenly, she walked towards him.

Luo Yibei was only slightly surprised to meet her in such a place, and then there was no other fluctuation of emotions in his eyes.

As she approached him, her hands were tightly fisted, and her expression was firm as if she was determined to go to the execution ground. She had her head lowered slightly as she walked slowly towards him. She stood in front of him and seemed to struggle for a while before raising her face.

“I’ll agree to your terms from that day!” Her clear and bright eyes stared fixedly at him, and her gaze seemed to twinkle. “But, I need you to promise me something.”

“Miss Fang seems to have a bad memory. It’s only been a few days but you have forgotten what I said later that day!” Luo Yibei played with his cellphone carelessly, his words filled with a touch of slight sarcasm.

Fang Chixia’s face turned red. When Luo Yibei thought that she would be angry and turn to leave like last time, she made an unexpected action…

She leaned down slowly until her face was in front of him. Holding his face in her small hands, she kissed him on his lips.

Her kiss was firm, rough and with no skill at all, but it was clear she was eager to prove something. She had even broken the skin on Luo Yibei’s lips with her teeth.

She held his head tightly as if she was afraid that he would push her away. Luo Yibei frowned and wanted to throw her aside reflexively, but Fang Chixia’s arms suddenly held his head even more tightly.

She was still kissing him, using her limited skills, regardless of where they were or how many people were around.

Fang Rong was not far away, looking at this scene in a daze and his expression was as dark as the bottom of a burnt pot.

Luo Yibei’s eyebrows were knitted tightly together. Fang Chixia had bitten his lips several times, and he was so furious that he wanted to grab her neck and throw her far away. However, he restrained himself.

Fang Chixia felt his connivance, and all her movements slowly came to a stop. She did not dare to look at him and had her face lowered.

“Let me finish what I have to say first.”

“Say it then!” Luo Yibei’s face was as cold as a gust of wind.

Fang Chixia took a deep breath, raised her face and said, “My only condition is that we get married!”

Several dead leaves fell off the branches of the trees on both sides of the street, twirling around in the air before falling.

There was a terrible silence all around.

Luo Yibei did not expect that she would make such a request. His already cold eyes seemed to be covered with a thousand layers of frost. A dark expression crossed his face as he looked at her, his gaze was sharp as if they could freeze her to death.
