Link paused in the act of opening the car door.

“Many things don’t require such urgency, even if you’re eager to get them done. Give yourself some time, take it slow, don’t panic.”

The voice of Mr. Xu Jing was as gentle as always, but to Link’s ears, it carried an unprecedented sincerity.

This was the first time Link felt such genuine emotion and treatment from Mr. Xu Jing.

There were no calculations, no ulterior motives.

He was simply concerned for him, simply wanted to give him good advice.

The agreed meeting place was a seaside villa.

For some reason, so many people liked to build villas for vacations in the mountains, on cliffs, and by the sea.

Inwardly, Link also quite wanted to own one or several such structures for holiday purposes.

After the hustle and bustle of life, it’s good to relax, a combination of work and rest.

As for the cloud-top villas he once admired, perhaps because he had flown often and traveled through space even more, he found he no longer liked them that much.

Before entering the villa, Link didn’t actually know who he was about to meet.

Link feigned sudden understanding, then said, “In that case, do I discuss directly with the Saint, or after meeting the Saint, with someone the Saint designates?”

“It’s fine to discuss with me.”

The Element Saint smiled gently, devoid of any pretense or airs.

Link took a moment to organize his thoughts and said frankly, “Since the Saint has spoken, then I’ll be direct. I’m here concerning the incident of the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell attacking the Ravensmouth College Advance Team.”

“That matter?”
