Aiden did not have the strength to argue. He stood up and glanced at Sophia again. After confirming that she was fine, he followed Professor Martin out of the room.

As the distance widened, the sense of weightlessness gradually weakened, confusing Aiden.

“In that case, why should we care if it’s a human or a beast sleeping beside us?”

Sophia immediately sat up and stared at him warily.
