“Enough already, everyone shut up!”

Obadiah couldn’t stand it anymore and hastily reprimanded the restless crowd.

After everyone had shut up, he turned to David and said, “David, who do you think would be the best candidate?”

David didn’t answer immediately; instead, he slowly scanned the faces of the executives, finally stopping on the one who had just spoken about intelligence operations and said, “Hena is right, he is in charge of intelligence at the IRS, it would be most suitable for him to go!”

At these words, the rest of the executives were visibly disappointed.

Since David was leading this issue, his opinion was decisive, and now that he had recommended Hena, it seemed likely that Obadiah would not refuse him.

Upon his return, Nisen Bakesimmons and others immediately surrounded him and asked in unison, “How did it go, have the chiefs found a suitable candidate?”

David didn’t keep them in suspense and replied, “The headquarters intends to move Hena to replace the NSA Director.”

“What!”

The three were somewhat surprised to hear this.

However, Simmons quickly recovered and nodded, “It will indeed cause a stir to parachute an executive from headquarters to take over, but given the current situation, we don’t care about it anymore, and it’s actually the best for us since it’s one of our own, absolutely safe and reliable.”

These attacks from the media, and being the director of MAS controlling numerous channel resources, he had naturally investigated thoroughly–it was David preparing to sort him out!
