Mo Pei glanced past Qiu Xin and turned to Xia Yan to ask, “Sister-in-law, I heard my cousin is sick. Is that true?”

Xia Yan provocatively stroked her chin at Mo He. It was apparent that she was displeased. However, Mo He was at a loss. He choked on his saliva and coughed a few times. He felt as though he would cough up a lung.

Jiang Qiu ran back to the room worriedly. “Are you all right, son? Do you need Doctor Liang to check on you?”

Mo He coughed and waved his hand.
