Although Han Qiu was sent into prison before he graduated senior high, he wasn’t brainless. Everyone was rich in the estate that they were standing in. Even though he had been separated from society for 4 years, he could tell from the texture of the man’s clothes that the price was not cheap.

Li Weiyin did not want to implicate an innocent bystander so she got ready to make a move. But, to her surprise, the man turned his body and shielded her while facing Han Qiu head-on.

He turned his head slightly and smiled in a slightly cheeky manner, “Give me a chance to be a hero.”

After speaking, he winked his left eye at Li Weiyin. As he winked, it felt like all the stars in the sky were twinkling magnificently with him.

If Han Qiu didn’t rush up behind him again, this scene would have been very pleasant.

But, Han Qiu wasn’t one to give up without a fight, so while he was forced to face the man with his back, he took the opportunity to fall back, swing his leg from front to back, and throw a kick.

The man raised his arms to block the attack and Han Qiu used this chance to turn his body and free himself.

“You have a few moves up your sleeves,” the man’s smile increased.

Han Qiu frowned and threw a flying kick at the man just as he threw a flying kick at almost the same time. Their feet collided in mid-air, and as they landed on the ground, they turned their bodies and aimed another kick at their opponent.

Before their calves met, the man’s other leg flew up and hit Han Qiu on the chest, right before his eyes.

Han Qiu held onto his aching chest. He wasn’t feeling well, but he still wanted to move. In the end, every movement he made resulted in a tugging pain on his chest.

“Hurry and see a doctor. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you,” the man laughed casually.

Han Qiu looked at Li Weiyin who was standing to the side before he looked at the man again. As he gritted his teeth, he refused to leave.

“Hurry home. Wolves come out at night,” the man said as he walked over to Li Weiyin and raised his eyebrows.

Li Weiyin nodded. “Thank you.”

Although she had the ability to deal with Han Qiu on her own, she still had to thank the man that helped her preserve some energy.

“No need. Serving a beauty is my honor.”
