She knelt down again with a sweet smile. The sun fell on her soft pink lips, making her smile even more dazzling.

“That’s right, Mother. A harmonious family brings success,” she said as she forcefully grabbed Fang Meixian’s phone from her hand. Just as she took a glimpse at the phone, she noticed an interesting contact number: ‘Mrs. Xu’s Personal Assistant (Yang)’.

She pressed the number and made a call. The call quickly connected and a clear male voice answered, “Hello, Mrs. Li.”

Li Weiyin was surprised that Mrs. Xu’s assistant sounded so young but confident. “Hello, Assistant Yang. I am Li Weiyin. I want to see Mrs. Xu, may I ask when it’s convenient?”

“Hello, Miss Li, please wait. Mrs. Xu is in the middle of a meeting. After she’s done, I’ll ask her for you and give you an answer.” His answer was very professional, but he also asked thoughtfully, “Do you want me to call you back on this number?”

“No, my phone number is 18********,” Li Weiyin recited her number.
