The Prince and the Little Mermaid

Yu Chu carried the youth into the bedroom. While letting him continue to hold onto her, she introduced him to few interesting things before eventually putting him on top of the bed. Smiling, she said: “This is where human sleeps…… come, give it a feel.”

Anmore blinked and watched as the girl pulled a blanket over him till half of his delicate face was covered. His nose was then suddenly filled with a sweet fragrance—— it was the scent of Rian.

His ice blue eyes curved.

Yu Chu sat down beside him. “In the sea, where do you usually live?”

Anmore slightly tilted his head to the side, causing his long icy-blue hair to spread out over the pillow. “Inside of a shell, a very soft seashell. ”

Thinking about it, he suddenly wanted to take her to the place where he lived, to see the beautiful corals, the magnificent sight of the fish tide…… and even more, the gardens and palaces, all of which that had beautiful views.

But humans were unable to go into the water.

Not only was there a breathing problem…… in the deep sea, a human’s body could even explode due to the water’s strong pressure.

He lowered his eyelashes to cover the dark light that flashed through his ice blue pupils. Looking at the girl’s fingers that were placed on the side of the bed for a while, he then suddenly whispered:

“Rian, will you be coming to the sea often?”

Yu Chu, stumped for words, hesitated a moment before honestly shaking her head. “It should be unlikely as there are just too many things to take care on land and there are not many opportunities needed for going out to sea.”

Seeing that pair of ice blue eyes staring determinedly at her, she reached over to lightly rub his hair. “However, since I have made a good friend at sea, it’s only natural that I will come here more often now.”

The youth pursed up his lips and finally gave a soft smile.

His soft smile was very adorable. Couple with his delicate eyes and brows, he was like a pure angel. Yu Chu offhandedly picked up a piece of cake from the side and held it towards him. “Do you want to try it? I like this rose cake the most. It’s very sweet.”

She likes it……

Anmore peevishly licked his lips and took a bite of the cake from right off the girl’s hand. Inadvertently, his fine and thin lips touched the girl’s finger, startling them both.

As if there was an electric current running through his entire body, the youth’s small, beautiful face became slightly red. Swallowing the sweet cake in his mouth, he said without looking over: “……en, very sweet.”

With the feel of his soft lip seeming to linger still on her fingertips, Yu Chu was also feeling somewhat awkward, but seeing the Little Merman’s white earlobes turning red, she couldn’t help but smile again—— this child was just too pure.

Staying with the Little Merman until the evening, she introduced him to many human things. Afterward, while stealthily avoiding the other people onboard, Yu Chu carried him to the side of the ship.

Anmore jumped into the sea with a swing of his beautiful fishtail. Then, biting his lips, he turned to looked up at the girl.

He hesitantly asked: “Are you going to still be here tomorrow?”

Yu Chu paused for a moment, then nodded: “En, I will still be at sea for a few more days. If you are free, you can come visit me any time.”

Anmore lightly blinked his ice blue eyes then immediately turned and dived under the water. His long, blue hair slightly rippled over the surface for a moment before it gradually disappeared under the sea.

From then on, every few days, Yu Chu would go out to sea to meet her ‘good friend.’

Her relationship with the Little Merman became more and more harmonious. From the perspective of their daily interactions, the little merman ought to have quite a lot of recognition towards her now……

And this type of recognition, according to observation……

Should probably be either friendship or familial affection, right?

That was what Yu Chu had always thought anyway.

Bind with the system, travel to different planes, and collect the Lord God’s soul fragments…… That she would ever have a romantic relationship with her beloved and respected Lord God, was something that she had never thought about.
