Chapter 47: Applying Medicine for Her

Yan Xiruo’s mind went blank for an instant. She didn’t understand the meaning of his words.

What did he mean he didn’t play?

If he wasn’t playing, why was he treating her this way?

Just when Yan Xiruo thought that he was going to take her by force and take advantage of her again, he placed her on the sofa, turned around, and took out a small medicine box from the cabinet.

As she looked at the bath towel that fell to the ground, Yan Xiruo’s mind went blank. She stared blankly at the man who was sweeping his gaze over her. When she recovered, she let out a sharp scream. “Ah!!!” She hurriedly bent down, picked up the towel, and wrapped it around her body.

Her face was flushed red and she wanted to flee. However, he held her wrist firmly and said casually, “It’s not as if I haven’t seen this before.”

Yan Xiruo was embarrassed and annoyed. She raised the hand that he wasn’t holding on to and wanted to give him a slap to the face, but he moved faster than she did. He clasped her wrist directly and flung her to the sofa.

“I still have to attend the banquet later and will leave after applying medicine for you. Don’t move around.” A trace of impatience could be detected in his low and deep voice.

Yan Xiruo knew that she wasn’t his match. If she struggled further, she might infuriate and irritate him.

She bit her lips, sat obediently on the sofa, and didn’t move.

He squatted in front of her again and took out cotton swabs and ointment from the medicine box.

Yan Xiruo looked at his handsome and perfectly sculpted face. Her heart couldn’t help but beat uncontrollably.

It was as if he didn’t notice her unusual behavior. He looked at her red and swollen knee, dipped the cotton swab into the medicine, and patiently applied the medicine for her.

His movements were soft and delicate. The injured area felt cool and comfortable after the medicine was applied to it.

Looking at his muscular chest that wasn’t rough at all, at his defined abdominal muscles, and at his sexy and perfect Apollo’s Belt, she had to admit that he was an extremely charming man.

Upon realizing that she was going gaga over him, Yan Xiruo quickly withdrew her gaze and turned her face away. She didn’t look at him again.
