Gu Xiao Xiao had studied this stock before. Honestly speaking, Jin Fu wasn’t a profitable company. Though the issuance of new shares has some hype around it, for it to increase in value by 10 folds was a little much. But some people just loved this stock without reasons and therefore turning it into a heated topic in the stock market.

Since a few days ago, the share price of the Jin Fu has been dipping. Until yesterday, it had fallen by fifty basis points. Within short five trading days, many people lost much of their wealth. This wasn’t a small number. Today’s news also shows that this stock will continue to fall. Remembering what Shi Zi Jian has done to her, Gu Xiao Xiao didn’t even feel like this was enough of a punishment. But thinking about the innocent investors, Gu Xiao Xiao felt a heartache. It’s not easy to make money these days and not many people can handle such a drop in the stock market.

Chu Xiao Xi saw Gu Xiao Xiao looking at her cell in a daze, so she looked over with much curiosity. When she saw the news, she sarcastically smiled.

“Karma is real. The evil will receive evil the good will get back what’s good. If you don’t believe in it, then just look up and see when God has ever forgiven.” Chu Xiao Xi then mockingly said, “This sly one has made much money lately. Now it’s time for him to spit it all up. This is great.”

Though she was right, Chu Xiao Xi does not believe that this whole ordeal with Shi Zi Jian was investigated and found out by the Securities Regulatory Commission. Those people are corrupted and never do their job. They only come out and make a statement when there are huge movements in the stock market. Therefore, there has to be some other scheme going on here.

Remembering how a few days ago, at the mention of how she wanted to meet Shi Zi Jian, Chu Yi Chen’s eyes turned sharp, Chu Xiao Xi laughed soundlessly.

If Chu Yi Chen had made a move, then it wouldn’t be so strange that this hyped stock everyone was so interested in had suddenly lost all its cool. To know that this second elder brother of hers had never gone easy on anyone, even if they somehow make it through this turmoil, there is no way Jin Fu will have a good time in the future.

“Shi Zi Jian is done for. I wonder when Jin Jing’s family will go bankrupt?” Chu Xiao Xi placed her head on Gu Xiao Xiao’s shoulder and exclaimed, “Unless she cries while kneeling, my heart will never feel good.”

Gu Xiao Xiao helplessly gave Chu Xiao Xi a look and said, “I investigated her family’s business before. They are doing well. I don’t think your dream will come true.”

“Don’t worry. The days are long. We shall see.” Chu Xiao Xi closed her eyes and decided to take a nap. She had burned the midnight oil again last night and now she had to pretend she was not at all tired. She wasn’t feeling too well.

The train ran at great speed on its rails. After four hours, they arrived at Gu Xiao Xiao’s hometown.

Dragging the still sleepy Chu Xiao Xi off the cart and breathing in the air from her hometown, Gu Xiao Xiao was happy but also felt a little complicated.

“So hungry.” Chu Xiao Xi, who hasn’t even eaten breakfast rubbed her stomach and looked around, “Is your home far from here? How about we eat something before we go?”

“There’s no traffic in this small town so we’ll get there quickly. If we can get a cab, we’ll be there in 10 minutes. Then, we can eat when we get home.” Gu Xiao Xiao waved down a taxi as she talked, “Grandma definitely cooked. She will feed you until you are full.”

In the taxi, Gu Xiao Xiao watched the views outside her window in a daze. After the car stopped and she arrived, her tense face finally showed signs of a smile.
