Chapter 40: I Really Do Like Him, Part I

Tao Yaoyao fell asleep right away and started dreaming.

In her dream, she was lying on a big, soft bed while struggling to open her eyes. She saw a tall man standing next to the bed, looking down at her condescendingly.

His face was hidden in the darkness as he stood with his back to the light, but he still appeared radiant. With an aloof, devilish, lonesome, and abstinent aura, he was breathtakingly gorgeous

Calm and composed, he slowly sat down on the side of the bed. His every movement and gesture exuded a kind of nobility that people simply couldn’t ignore.

He raised his hand and touched her chin with his fingers. He had a pair of beautiful, powerful hands. As fair as jade, his fingers were slender and clean, and his nails were neatly cut. With calluses on his fingertips, he stroked her chin. His gesture appeared nonchalant, but he raised her chin forcefully.

“Feng Zhuo…” She called out to him and tried to sit up, but her body seemed to be restrained by something, and she couldn’t move at all.

He leaned down and planted a kiss on her forehead.

Then he stood up again, turned, and left.

The moment he opened the door, faint golden light poured in, and his slender figure slowly disappeared into the golden light.

Tao Yaoyao opened her eyes abruptly. The morning sun poured in from the half-open window, and it shone right into her eyes.

She squinted her eyes and felt dazed for a moment before she snapped back to reality.

Just now, she had dreamed of a man. Who was that man? He looked like Feng Zhuo.

Tao Yaoyao felt embarrassed.
